 Camille
Shand began dancing at age three and
has not stopped since!! Camille spent 14 years at the Chris Collins Dance
Studio and performed and competed with the dance company. Camille assisted
with tap classes and also became very involved with the Cecchetti program.
Through the Cecchetti program, Camille was the studio's first student to receive
a highly commended score. She also has had the opportunity to perform at
Busch Gardens, Disney World, and Universal Studios. Camille was thrilled
to participate in the Dance theatre of Harlem's Residency Program at the Duke
Ellington School of the Arts.
After graduating high school,
Camille continued her dance career at the College of William and Mary. As a
freshman, she placed into the highest level of technique classes. She was a
member and choreographer of two dance companies. Through the college dance
program, Camille studied with some renowned modern instructors.
Graduating in 2008 with a degree
in Kinesiology (study of human movement), Camille is excited to return to the
Chris Collins Dance family and combine that knowledge with her love of dance.
