NO CAMERAS, CELL PHONES, VIDEO EQUIPMENT ARE PERMITTED DURING THE ACTUAL RECITAL!! It is extremely distracting and disrespectful to performers and audience members to have cameras in the auditorium. It is also for SECURITY REASONS. You do not know where a video or picture of your child could show up unauthorized if it is randomly taken by someone else. Please cooperate! The performances will be professionally recorded. You may choose to purchase dvd’s directly through that company.
33rd ANNUAL RECITAL We sincerely hope you enjoy the performances of this year’s students in Showtime 2009. Please invite your friends to come and enjoy our production. If you know any alumni students or any interested prospective students, please let them know the dates of our show. If you have any questions about rehearsal and recital week, do not hesitate to ask. We would like everything clear in advance so there is no confusion during recital week. Additional information will be on bulletin boards and our website – chriscollinsdance.com
You are reminded that dress rehearsal is mandatory! It is the time for students to gain confidence and parents to take photos. It may seem a little crazy if this is your first long rehearsal, but, we trust you will enjoy the final production.
Parents are reminded of good theater etiquette that they can observe and pass on to their children. Remain quietly seated while any performers are on stage. Have the same respect for each performer as you would like others to have for your student. We would like this to be a memorable event for all!
SOUVENIR T-SHIRTS AND BUTTONS To commemorate Showtime 2009 will be available in June.
