Because Fairfax County schools will now have their last day of school on June 25^th, the county has switched our recital venue once again.  The dates and times remain the same.  However, all

Mandatory dress rehearsals and performances will now be held at

HAYFIELD SECONDARY SCHOOL 

7630 Telegraph Rd., Alexandria

Specific information for each class was given out by teachers during spring parent week in March.   There is a poster in the studio lobby confirming all the details that were given out during parent week.

All classes who perform in the Matinee recital will have a mandatory dress rehearsal Thursday, June 26

All classes who perform in the Evening recital will have a mandatory dress rehearsal Friday, June 27

STUDENTS ARRIVE AT 2 PM FOR REHEARSAL.

All ad copy to be included in the Showtime 2014 program book must be turned in to the office no later than Saturday, May 3rd

RECITAL PHOTOS

Class Photos will be taken at the dance studio May 27-31.  Please arrive at least a half hour prior to the scheduled time of your photos and BE READY at the appointed time.  You can verify photo times on the poster in the studio lobby.  Fliers will be available soon from Splendid Portraits.

There are separate fliers attached to pre-order souvenir recital T-shirts and flowers.  Please note checks for these must be made payable to the DCPA.

SUMMER CLASSES

There is no registration fee for continuing students.  Summer is an excellent time to try a new subject.  If you have friends who would like to dance, please let them know about our summer classes.  We will offer weekday afternoon/evening classes for all levels and subjects – preschool through adult!  Teachers of current students will recommend the best summer class for your student.

PRINCESS CAMP

for children ages 3-6

July 7-11 – 9:30 – 12:30

This camp is also open to Princes and Pirates!!  Price includes dance, crafts, snacks, and games.  Each princess will leave camp with a tutu, wand, & tiara.  Students will need ballet slippers.  The cost for the full week is $175.00
